Neck Pain

conditions-neck-pain.png

Neck pain affects up to 20% of adults every year!

Neck Pain results from stress in the muscles, ligaments, and nerves, as well as in the bone and the joints of the spine. The most common causes that we diagnose and treat are muscle and joint irregularities from injury or prolonged wear and tear. In many people, these issues can be addressed with manual therapy, changes to posture at work and exercises.

Another cause of neck pain is whiplash. Whiplash arises from a sudden forward and backward or side to side movement of the head. These are often associated with motor vehicle accidents but can happen in other ways, eg: contact sport or falls.
