Dr. Emma Vanheems graduated with Distinction from RMIT with a double science degree in Human Biology and Chinese Medicine. RMIT is the World Health Organisation (WHO) collaborative centre for research and development in Chinese Medicine. In addition to this, Emma also was given the opportunity to study in China, completing a clinical internship at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital.
Having worked alongside various mentors at two of Melbourne’s specialist Chinese Medicine clinics over the past 10 years, Emma has accumulated much experience using a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutritional supplementation.
She has a special interest in sports injuries, digestive disorders and women’s health.
Emma’s specialist training in women’s health, including pregnancy & IVF support, led her to expand, launching Elsternwick Acupuncture & Natural Fertility Clinic under the ReachHealth umbrella. Emma’s knowledge and application of the latest research, has positioned her as a well-respected, natural fertility support practitioner around the bayside and south eastern suburbs.
